The Web Developer will provide day-to-day support, development and enhancements of Circuit Clinical’s web-based applications. This candidate must possess initiative, interpersonal skills, drive, technical aptitude, software development lifecycle (SDLC) vision, and organizational commitment. The candidate must be comfortable working in a flexible, fast-paced startup environment with quick development cycles. This position will interact as needed with executive management to create/maintain and enhance the company’s web-based applications. This position will be expected to integrate with a team of developers as well as work in a cross functional environment. The individual will build the front-end and back-end design of the company’s web-based applications along with structuring the back part of an application, which manages program logic and server database interaction.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop within the .NET framework, and utilize the MVC design pattern
• Define application objectives by analyzing user/business requirements by interacting with stakeholders, executive management and end users
• Provide detailed and summary level estimates for development and documentation
• Update existing applications to meet the security and functionality standards as outlined in the company’s website policies
• Assist in updating application development policies to ensure that all future applications meet the latest technical requirements
• Translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application by working with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.
• Design, organize, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, reliable, and scalable code
• Develop and adhere to comprehensive application testing procedures
• Converse with Azure cloud management services
• Ability to work on projects independently and use time management to get tasks done efficiently
• Aptitude for solving practical problems and handling a variety of variables in situations where only limited standard rules exist
• Strong oral and written communication skills for interfacing with clients, peers, users and management
• Build, optimize, and maintain the server-side of all company web products; help maintain internal company software applications

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years’ preferred experience in .NET development
• 3+ years’ experience with MVC and MVVM Design Patterns
• 3+ years’ experience in application development and testing
• 3+ years’ SDLC implementation experience
• 3+ years’ experience in HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript. (Bootstrap and JQuery experience a plus.)
• 3+ years’ experience in relational databases
• 1+ years’ experience with source control
• Ability to create and adhere to application documentation and support documentation as required for all applications
• Strong teamwork skills – especially with the business operations team
• Proven knowledge of the most current security and web development programming techniques
• Healthcare application experience (HIPAA, FDA, etc.)
• Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards
• Experience in planning and delivering software platforms across multiple products and organization units
• Experience developing for mobile applications
