Restaurant Sales and Consumer Engagement
ABOUT
The OpenBottle team is seeking a person to do part-time contract work to increase engagement with restaurants and consumers in our local Western New York area.
Duties will include:
– Visiting new restaurants to share what OpenBottle is about and how it can help them.
– Assisting new restaurants to sign up to become part of the OpenBottle network of restaurants (there are no fees for restaurants to register or utilize OpenBottle).
– Work with restaurants to set-up new listings (snap bottle pictures, set dates and times, and help with suggestions on pricing).
– Provide simple training to servers and staff at the restaurant locations on how to use the OpenBottle app.
– Attend Listings by being at the locations to interact with consumers when they use the OpenBottle app.
– Provide feedback to the OpenBottle team from restaurants and consumers so we can continue to make OpenBottle the best experience for all.
Yes, you will have the opportunity to meet amazing new people and sample some of the best wines that are available in the process of executing these duties!
Desired Experience and Skills:
– Food and beverage industry experience (server, bar tender, manager of a restaurant) is a must. Experience with or as a wine and/or liquor distributor is a huge plus.
– Must be able to work well with technology like an iPad or laptop.
– Excited about meeting new people and able to share the OpenBottle value proposition to owners and managers of some of our area’s best restaurants.
Part-time assistance is needed, and this means being able to spend 16 hours to 20 hours a week as a representative of OpenBottle.
This will be a contract relationship with a set hourly rate with OpenBottle as we are getting our start.
