Elijah Tyson got tired of carrying his Tupperware containers of food to class all day. Then he saw that many of his fellow students at the university were carrying around bags of food all day, sometimes for upwards of 12 hours. Then he saw a sign for a 90-second pitch competition on campus with a $1,000 prize and it was then the root of ColdSpace was born.
This week on the podcast we talk with Elijah about deploying their cold storage lockers on the campus of University at Buffalo, how the students are making use of the access to secure food storage and how the company plans to grow.
