Participants in the portfolio track work directly with the portfolio team to help recruit, manage, and retain 43North portfolio companies. Participants in the recruitment track work primarily spend their time hitting the phones in an effort to recruit startup founders to apply for the 43North accelerator program. In addition to assisting with the application process, these interns will work hands-on with startup founders to answer questions and ensure applications are completed by the deadline. This is a great opportunity for first-time interns and someone who is eager to gain professional experience, but not certain of their preferred career path or industry. *Our positions for 2022 are now filled. Participants in the marketing track work directly with our marketing team while participating in creative discussions, assisting with content creation and social media, and serving as overall execution support. Day-to-day responsibilities will vary including everything from packing and shipping mailings to event support to developing marketing materials. Participants in the events track assist with the planning and execution of events during 43North Finals week. Events include (but are not limited to), a welcome dinner for semi-finalists, founder's mentor day, semi-finals pitches, and our grand finale event at Shea’s Performing Arts Center where eight winners will take home a cut of $5 Million. *We are not currently hiring an events intern. The accounting intern will play a key role in supporting 43North’s Finance team by helping support the grant funding and other key accounting processes. This individual will support the Director of Finance and Operations by aiding in the monthly accounting processes and procedures specifically related to expense reporting and grant reporting.
